Pay as you go car insurance is a pretty good way of describing the benefits of temporary car insurance from Daycover. PAYG car insurance is simple to arrange and gives you much greater control over the price of your premiums, especially helpful for low-income policy holders. Pay as you go insurance is also a very effective way to control overheads and costs if you are a small business. You only need to insure the drivers who absolutely must have the use of any vehicles in the days they actually need to use them. PAYG motor insurance may be inexpensive and flexible, but still provides levels of protection and cover as good as any other motor insurance policy.
Daycover PAYG Car Insurance
Daycover has policies that let any qualified motorist drive a car that is not theirs for as short a time as necessary and for as far as they want to go.
PAYG Policy Requirements:
The Car: as long as the vehicle is worth £1,500, hasn't been modified, has no more than eight seats and was registered in Great Britain, Northern Ireland or the Isle of Man, we'll cover it!
The Driver: if you have a clean (less than six penalty points in the last three years) UK driving licence (or any other recognised driving licence) which you've held for more than 12 months and haven't been disqualified from driving in the last five years, Daycover can arrange PAYG car insurance.
Pay As Your Go Insurance Highlights
We indemnify you as the policyholder through the provision of a comprehensive PAYG insurance policy (subject to terms) for your insurable interest in a car (with an excess of £250 or £500). Any accident repairs are carried out using the insurer's approved procedures and suppliers. Should that damage be severe enough to result in a total loss or write off, we will negotiate any settlement directly with you, not the owner of the vehicle. It is the policyholder's responsibility to clear any liability with the owner of the vehicle. The PAYG policy does not cover any liability to any party in respect of loss of use or availability of the car. All Comprehensive policies include Accidental Damage, Fire & Theft identified on the policy schedule and have a limit on indemnity in respect of loss of or damage to the car as specified in the Policy Documents you receive. All customers have additional cover in respect of uninsured loss recovery.
